Our fall project this year was to provide
support for US Vets-Riverside. We held a joint meeting with San Antonio Chapter DAR and put together 65 goodie bags containing toiletries, snacks and entertainment items for our veterans. We also signed holiday greeting cards, which were mailed to Walter Reed Army Hospital and Bethesda Naval Center for our wounded warriors.
We also got together in December for a tour of the historic Rains House. We felt like we stepped back into time for a Civil War-era Christmas gathering.
