National President Katie S. asked us to join her in "Leading the American Adventure" in 2007-2008. We raised money for a Junior Ranger website for Yorktown Battlefield National
Historical Park.

On Friday evening, the first business session opened with many reports and campaign speeches. After the meeting, members had a chance to meet the
candidates, visit with friends and make some new ones. The business meetings continued on Saturday morning, with the election of new national officers. There was a short time to rest on Saturday afternoon and then it was time for the
banquet and member dance. A party honoring the National President was given after the dance.

On Sunday morning, National President
Kevin B. was installed for 2008-2009.

He chose "Ensuring American Patriotism" as the national theme for his program. His project is to raise funds to provide "Liberty or Death" DVDs to classrooms across the country. The movie is a re-enactment of Patrick Henry's famous speech at St. John's Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA.
